1915 – The Tamaqua station was remodeled to include the addition of a baggage and express office on the north end of the building, along with painting of the entire exterior of the building in the standard cream and brown colors of the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad.
A Union News Company news stand was also constructed next to the station on the south side for sale of daily newspapers, candy and tobacco items to passengers.
