2005 – The Schuylkill River National & State Heritage Area honors Tamaqua S.O.S. and the Borough of Tamaqua for “the leadership and dedication of these organizations for the beautiful restoration of the 1874 Philadelphia & Reading Railroad Tamaqua Passenger Station.”
